Welding refers to the process of joining the metals together i.e. the permanent joint of two metals mutually with heat. At present, it is also possible to weld polymers with various methods. A rod of solid metal with an electrode core and mineral compound surrounded by the mixture of metal powder creates a binding agent at the electrode’s surface. Heat melts out the stick material and flux coating. Thus, it creates gas and liquid slag that shields the joint from being oxidized.
